Is there a vaccine against pandemic influenza? If not, when will a vaccine be available? Will everyone be able to get it? And how can you get vaccinated?

Availability of the vaccine against the pandemic virus
The vaccine can only be produced from the virus capable of being passed from human to human. It therefore won’t be available until several months after the start of the pandemic. During this interval, you should conscientiously observe all the day-to-day hygiene rules to deal with the first wave of the pandemic

Vaccination strategy
Everyone should be able to receive the vaccination. However, because supplies of the vaccine will be gradual, some people will have to take priority over others.

Vaccination centres will be set up specially and you will be told which one you can go to get vaccinated.
Before you receive your vaccination, a doctor will evaluate whether there is any chance of there being a contra-indication.
