Pandemic influenza could last around 8 to 10 days.
For certain people, the flu can be accompanied by complications, mainly respiratory, which will delay recovery considerably. You should inform your doctor of any complications quickly so they can prescribe suitable treatment or hospitalisation if necessary.
Recovery
Your recovery should be accompanied by immunisation against the virus. However, if the virus continues to mutate, no one will be protected from a new contamination. You will therefore need to continue to respect the essential hygiene rules.
The flu lasts 8 to 10 days in the absence of complications.
