Blowing one’s nose, sneezing, spitting and coughing are everyday actions that can become high-risk in the event of illness. To curb the pandemic and save lives, a few simple actions will make all the difference.
Specific hygiene rules must be followed:
Covering the mouth when coughing,preferably with a handkerchief.
Covering the nose and mouth when sneezing,preferably with a handkerchief.
Blowing one’s nose with tissues.
Only spitting into a handkerchief.
Washing one’s hands after coughing, sneezing and spitting into a handkerchief.
The handkerchief should be a single-use tissue. Once used, it should be placed in a bin lined with a bag and, if possible, covered with a lid.
