Community life
Community life can help maintain social links in the event of a pandemic and help make the situation more bearable. It will be encouraged because it creates solidarity and provides consolation. It should be organised to facilitate the arrival of volunteers, while preventing the risks of contagion.
Associations may be required to change or indeed cut back their activities, and for any that are kept on hygiene rules will need to be applied. Meetings in particular will have to be avoided. For any that cannot be postponed, people should wear masks and keep a distance of two metres from each other to avoid contamination.
The telephone and the Internet could be used as an alternative means for members to communicate with each other.
Activities requiring gatherings of people will be postponed.
