Cafes and restaurants
If you are in good health, you will be able to go out for a drink or a bite to eat at a restaurant. Big dinners and banquets should be avoided, however. Restaurants and cafes should continue their activities but with some reorganisation. Ask about the measures taken by establishments to limit contagion.
What to eat if you go to a restaurant
During an influenza pandemic, you can continue to eat everything, but you should be aware that the supply chain may be disrupted at this time. This might mean that restaurants are able to offer a smaller variety of dishes.
What rules should be followed?
At restaurants and cafes you should observe the rules put in place by the establishments. Tables will be spaced further apart, or the number of chairs at each table might be altered to respect the two-metre distance recommended between people to prevent contagion.
