Who to contact
If you have one or more flu symptoms, don’t go directly to the accident and emergency department, you should contact a doctor first.
To do this you can phone your regular GP. Otherwise you can phone the number given to you by your town council, prefecture, the press or radio (France Bleu) or the television (France 3).
If you can’t get hold of a doctor, you can dial 15 for the SAMU (emergency medical service). Medical staff will then be despatched to you and you may be sent to a consultation centre.
